Transition

We are counting down the days before our departure to Argentina (9 days!).  People ask us, "Are you excited?"  Well, yes, but we hardly have time to think of anything but packing and trying to keep things as "normal" as possible in the midst of this transition time.  Moving is never easy.  Moving a family is hard.  Moving overseas...just plain chaotic!  We have taken some pictures of this so-called chaos...perhaps you'd know how to pray for us just by seeing them.  :o)

Mom De Leon (left) and Mom Stanton (right) helping us pack!   We couldn't have done it without them!

Loading the crate items onto a truck to be shipped to Houston.  The items will stay there until our paperwork is finalized to the point that we can send for the crate.  This could take three months (not including shipping time).
Olivia wondering if Mommy packed all her clothes already!

Reading (and re-reading) sweet good-bye cards from friends!

Three down...eleven to go!!!!!

Schedule?  What schedule?  It also gets packed!

"Mommmmyyyy!  Are you still packing?  What's for dinner?"

  3. Eric and Kristi,

First of all, a belated Happy Birthday to Kristi! I am so happy that you all arrived safely (with your bags!) to Argentina! Those photos really bring back memories. We were in that very apartment last August when we made a visit to Argentina. The empanadas and medialunas make my mouth water :) You have been in my prayers and I continue to lift you up during this time of getting settled, especially your precious kids. Love & blessings from Aunt Nancy Muskrat
